Equine Rescue of Aiken

History

History of Equine Rescue of Aiken

In 2006, Equine Rescue of Aiken at Haven Hills Farm was established as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.

On 80 acres of rolling hills and pastures, sits a unique class facility to care for horses who had suffered abuse, neglect and abandonment. Equine Rescue of Aiken is dedicated to removing horses from bad situations and to providing a safe haven for them.

Once the horses are under our care and custody, they are lovingly rehabilitated.

The Equine Rescue's goal is to find ‘Forever Homes’ for as many of the horses, dogs, puppies, etc. as possible.

The residents who are too damaged or too infirm to be adopted have a permanent home at Haven Hills Farm.

We are determined to stop the cycle of equine abuse.
