Horses, Dogs, Donkeys, etc. from Equine Rescue of Aiken
We were race horses, show horses, event horses, trail horses, draft horses, polo ponies, saddlebreds, barrel racers, broodmares, foals, miniature horses, miniature donkeys and ‘backyard pets.’ When we were no longer useful, many of us were abused, abandoned, neglected, unwanted, unloved. Many of us were also destined for slaughter.
We are also fostered dogs and puppies primarily rescued from local shelters.
Now we have food, water and veterinary care. We live on a beautiful 80 acre farm in board fenced paddocks with shelters or in special dog pens. We are safe and well cared for here.
We are waiting for you to adopt us into ‘Forever Homes.’ Our places will be filled by other horses, dogs or puppies in need. You can break the cycle of cruelty and stop the terrible waste of animal lives.
Please come to the farm and meet us, love us, help us and maybe take us home with you....
And PLEASE, don't forget to spay or neuter your dogs or cats so their puppies and kittens don't end up in a shelter like us!
